I am Régis Behmo. I live and work in Paris, France. Before that, I have lived in The Netherlands (where I was born), Germany (just a year) and China. I am the holder of a Master of Science from Supaero (now ISAE) and a PhD in applied mathematics from the Ecole Centrale Paris.
My current employer is LTU Technologies, a small, fantastic company devoted to image retrieval and other computer vision applications. Prior to that, I have also worked at Moodstocks and Criteo. My background is in computer vision, and that’s the art of teaching computers to understand the content of images.
I am passionate about new technologies at large and coding is both a professional activity and a hobby. I also love to climb stuff made of rock. Photography is among the things I enjoy: this is my portfolio and here is my Flickr account.
